About CCSA

The Board of Directors listed below welcomes you to contact them regularly regarding ideas and concerns.

Katie Yallaly, President

I've owned my studio for 16 years and previously served on the CCSA Board for 4 years. I started painting pottery as a stress relief and thought it would be a great business. So, I relocated and opened my first studio. At one time, I owned up to three studios, but now it's just one! I am married and have an amazing daughter.

Jamie McCabe, Vice President

I have been painting memories with customers for over 14 years now, and I can't imagine doing anything else. My favorite melt-my-heart moment is this mother and child that comes in every year on their "Gocha-versary." That's the day they adopted their daughter, and it's been a tradition for 5 years now. We have THE.BEST jobs. I have been married for 24 years and have 2 kids. I love country music, and I don't like to sweat! No gym for this gal, besides I get plenty of exercise running around our studio.

Louise Blazucki, Treasurer

I am the proud owner of Kiln Creations in Noblesville, Indiana. I started my journey to studio ownership as a customer, frequenting Amazing Glaze in Maryland starting in 2008. I hope to enrich the CCSA with a fiery passion for customer service and a knowledge of retail store operations.

Vicki De Werth, Secretary

I've owned my studio for 3 years. I innocently attended a birthday party for my granddaughter at a PYOP shop and became hooked!! I started going every week, eventually offering my help to the owner. I love the chance to be creative and think outside the box.

Wendy Pettys

I've owned my studio for 18 years. And I hope the kiln gods and pottery fairies will carry on the “goodness”. After all this time, I still do love my studio, but the true loves of my life are my family. I’ve been married for what seems all my life. I have two great kids, Taylor and Justin, and 2 fur babies, Bobo and Ticky.

Morgan Ouellette

I’m 26 years old! And I have owned my studio for 6 years. Though I have worked there for over 10! I started working there when I was in the 10th grade! I love everything about my job. Painting. Working. Socializing. And coffee! I’ve added a coffee shop to both of my locations!

Cheryl Tisland

I started the studio in 2014 with my Mom, Son, and Sister. We bought the building that we are in and renovated and opened Burst Of Butterflies at the end of 2014. We did branch out to a second studio in 2019 and then scaled back in 2020 to the one main studio. I love what I do and could not imagine another industry to be in. Even on the most challenging days, this business is what excites me every day. I spent 30 years as a Software Engineer prior to transitioning to an art studio. I absolutely love that I get to flutter about the studio all day seeing happy people getting creative.
