Classes

Convention classes can be a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet other people in your field, and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends. They can also be a lot of fun and provide a chance to network and make new connections.

Meeting with Suppliers

Catch-up with suppliers during Exhibit Hall hours. Browse new products, learn new techniques, and get answers to any questions you may have for them.

Reno Studio Bus Tour

Come and explore the PYOP studios of Reno with us! Our tour will take us to three different studios and last for approximately four to five hours. We’ll be departing from the Peppermill at exactly 2 PM (with the boarding location to be announced). We’ll take a brief break for dinner and even have some time for shopping!

Gala/Auction

Every year the CCSA holds a Charity night to raise money for a chosen organization. There will be a silent auction, dinner, and entertainment. This is also your chance to buy raffles for the famous Golden Ticket!

How to Build Your Local Business and Better Connect with Your Community: Community is incredibly important to today’s consumers. You get points for being a good corporate citizen, points for protecting the environment, points for recycling, up-cycling, and for the local charities you support. This presentation looks at what you can do locally to become a better corporate citizen, engaging shoppers, and encouraging your community to Shop Local, Shop Small, Shop Indie! You’ll learn: How to be present in local activities; an easy exercise to help you identify what makes your store special; how to utilize Lifestyle Marketing to connect with your customers and community; how to create partnership promotions with other successful, non-competing businesses; how to utilize Cause Marketing; why it’s necessary to toot your own horn, plus PR tricks to help you capture media attention.

CCSA Hotel room blocks closed on August 8th.

Block cut off: August 8th, 5 PM PST. There is a $250 fee per attendee per day not staying at the hotel. This does not apply to you if you live 50 miles from the convention center.

Join us in Reno, Nevada, to get the band back together at the CCSA's 26th Convention. We are excited to return to an in-person Convention and expect record attendance numbers in 2023. This is a show that you don't want to miss, and our Paint Your Own Pottery studio members can't wait to see your newest products and offerings that will help them expand their business.

In addition to the extensive exhibit hall hours, we will have demos, robust educational programming, and engaging social/networking events. We are looking forward to another fantastic, fun-filled, successful year and hope you'll be a part of this event.

  • 2 people attending - $890

  • 3 people attending - $1,280

  • 4 people attending - $1,670

The following is included with your registration:

• Regular Convention classes and exhibits, member mixer, two lunches one being a lunch and learn and dinner at Convention Gala.

• Handout/Notes/Directions and other information for any classes for which we received handouts from instructors. This includes all regular classes—even the ones you didn’t take. (NOTE: This packet does not include Pre-Con classes.)

• Brush pack to use in biz-nique classes.

•Inspiration, education, networking, new friends, and fun times!
