Happy birthday parents and kids!
A nice man who doesn't even live here who walked in to thank me for helping kids to be creative.
CCSA Chatterers (is that even a word?) who can always cheer me up on a hard day!

My daughters (one 13, one 17) finally offering to help each other voluntarily and getting along. Never thought I'd see it happen.

Happiness is......

Painting alone in the studio at night with the "Closed" sign on the door, a glass of wine and favorite CD playing. Painting of course for myself, and not for a workshop, customer or sample!! (this doesn't happen too often but it's a nice thought!)

Oh, how nice!! I know that happiness will be when I'm moved into the new place and I feel truly settled there.
Right now though, happiness is my bed with clean fresh sheets. Anyone else ready for Father's Day already?

Spending the morning in the garden, sun shining, watering my vegetable patch, nibbling on fresh peas straight from the plants, my dogs lazing in the sun, next doors chickens clucking, all the studio hassles just slipping away from my mind.

Ah bliss!

Happiness is... gosh I can relate to all of these. I get a true sunburst of happiness when a child who walks in holding mums hand for dear life, avoiding eye contact, painfully shy, chatters away with me while painting and asks if next time she can paint the horse.

Aaagh, Bonnie, that reminds me. A little girl motioned for me to come to her, I thought she was going to tell me something or ask me a question, so I knelt down, and she kissed me on the cheek! It was adorable.

Smile Oh that happy feeling...

Asking me to do a camp especially for eight, seven year olds who just thought summer wouldn't be the same without a Glazes camp. And getting huge hugs from the girls as they come in to pay their deposits and thank me for making their summer.

I am selling my shop and cancelled camps as have so much to do. This changed my mind, and I'm doing it anyway!

Seeing the 15 year old girl (with cancer) smiling as she is putting primer on her chair that she's painting in the teen/tween camp. They don't know how much happiness I am getting from seeing her there. So many people did nice things for my nephew, Scott, and his family when he had cancer. Isn't it great that we can do something nice?

Lynne, don't scream! Just hop on a plane. I'm sure Dani would love some yank company! One of these days we,re gonna get a group together and decend like locusts on the UK studios! Maybe in 2008! That would be a blast.

I think I may have also accidentally eaten a transparent caterpillar that was hiding on my lettuce - Yuck!! Oh well it's all protein I suppose

Simply, just a studio with customers!! Trying to make my new place feel like home so I'd have to add no boxes either.

Margaret, I hope you are coming to the convention. I want to meet you. 10 years..wow! I always tell people that PYOP years work like dog years. Dog years are 7 to 1 and pyop years are 10 to 1. I want to meet long timers at the convention!
For me, happiness is taking two days off in Orlando with my kids because my very best employee ever is home from school for a week and I can leave without worrying. I ate a big slice of Cheesecake factory cheescake last night only minutes before falling asleep in the hotel room. Bliss! I'm sure the big butt fairies visited me in my sleep, but I won't know for sure for a couple of days.
